Wasiq Ali, CFA
A distinguished leader in Islamic finance with over two decades of invaluable experience across premier local and international institutions. He is currently working as Head, Islamic Transaction Services, Financial Institutions (Global Business) at Standard Chartered Saadiq (UAE). His Islamic finance journey began in Corporate Banking at Meezan Bank (Pakistan), where he managed a substantial portfolio, followed by significant contributions to Corporate & Investment Banking at Dubai Islamic Bank Pakistan.
Wasiq holds an MBA with a finance specialization from IBA Karachi (Pakistan) and has also completed eight years of the Dars-e-Nizami course from Wifaq ul Madaris Pakistan. He is also a CFA charterholder and Certified Sharia Advisor and Auditor (CSAA) from AAOIFI.
